A Sunday morning does not just happen. Behind every warm welcome, every cup of coffee, and every word you can actually hear, there are ordinary people quietly serving. We believe every single believer has been handed a gift by God, and that those gifts are meant to be spent on one another.
Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Serving here is not about being on a stage or having it all together. It is about taking what God has given you, however ordinary it feels, and using it to build up the family. Here are the main ways to get stuck in.
Where You Can Serve
Baristas & Hospitality
This is the heart of a Vuka Sunday. Our baristas keep the coffee flowing from before the service until well past lunch, and our hospitality team makes sure every person who arrives feels expected, welcomed, and at home. The greeting at the gate, the biscuits, the setting up and packing down, and the friendly face a nervous first-timer is hoping to find. If you love people and a good cup of coffee, this is your team.
Audio & Tech
Every word preached and every song sung has to be heard and seen clearly. Our audio and tech team runs the sound desk, the screens, and the media, so that nothing gets in the way of people meeting with God. If you are practical, calm under pressure, and happy working behind the scenes, you will fit right in.
Music
Our band and worship team is a front line ministry that leads the family as we sing to God together. Whether you sing or play an instrument, if you want to offer your musical gift back to the One who gave it, there is a place for you on the team.
