Barbershop is our men's ministry, and the name says a lot about the heart of it. Think of the old barbershop, where older men and younger men gathered in the same room, and somewhere between the jokes and the laughter the real wisdom got passed down. That is what we are after. Men sharpening men, one generation handing something worth having to the next.

How It Works
We gather at a home in Monavoni on the last Sunday of every month. The fires are lit at 15:00, and once the coals are ready we braai boerie rolls, stand around, and talk as men. For the record, the only salad we eat here is chicken.
It is relaxed, it is honest, and there is no pressure. Come hungry and come as you are.
More Than a Braai
Barbershop is not another sermon series, and it is not a lecture. It is a conversation.
Our heart is simple: men who are further along in the faith sitting with their peers and with younger men, sharing the wisdom God has grown in them. The hard-won lessons, the honest struggles, the encouragement, and yes, the jokes. This is how men have always grown best, shoulder to shoulder, not in rows.
One generation will declare your works to the next and will proclaim your mighty acts.
