About Vuka Community Church
We are an evangelical, family church in Monavoni, Centurion. We exist to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever, and everything here flows from that: we love God, we take His word seriously, we trust His rule over our lives, and we genuinely delight in Him together.
If you are getting to know us, this is a good place to start. Below is a quick overview of who we are, with links to explore further.
Our Vision
Vuka means "arise." We exist to wake a sleeping world to the living God and to walk together in the light of Jesus Christ. Our mission, our heart, and where we are heading as a church family are all set out here.
What We Believe
The good news about Jesus Christ is at the centre of who we are. We hold firmly to the Bible as God's word, to salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone, and to the historic Christian faith, held with both conviction and joy.
Our Team
The church is committed to being led by a plurality of elders, supported by deacons, with a pastoral team who help shepherd the church family. For now Vuka is led by one elder, and we are praying for God to raise up more. Meet the people God has given to lead and serve at Vuka.
Come and See
The best way to get to know us is to join us on a Sunday.
